Jordan Pilon and Johnathan Deis from VYPC's Racing Group depart tomorrow for a sprint canoe/kayak training camp in San Diego, California. The camp is part of CanoeKayak BC's high performance program preparing athletes for national-level competitions including Canada Games.

Jordan and Johnathan have been very dedicated to training with coach Matt Christie over the winter - swimming, running, weights and paddling totaling almost 10 hours every week. VYPC wishes them well in California, and looks forward to having them back as leaders in the club when the spring/summer season starts for all groups in April.
